Met Tinker kan je niet Ulamog in het spel leggen. Het is geen Artifact.
Om een Artifact te zijn. Moet op de type line het woord Artifact staan.
Bij Ulamog staat daar enkel Legendary Creature - Eldrazi.

Je kan met Show and Tell ook voor een creature kiezen. En daar Ulamog een creature is kan je hem wel degelijk in het spel leggen met Show and Tell

Je kunt deze toch niet spelen met Show and Tell want het is toch geen artifact? Of zijn alle colorless kaarten artifacts?
Ik vraag me wel eens af of we over 10 jaar nog spelen, en dan terug kijken naar deze tijd. Waar Eldrazi's de grootste, engste beesten in magic waren. "Proest hah!"

Ik vind ze er dan ook qua uiterlijk en layout echt héél gaaf uit zien; vervreemdend, gigantisch, bizar & dodelijk.

Het zijn ook zeker toernooiwaardige kaarten.
Goed te misbruiken met oa Chaos Warp, Sneak Attack, Show and Tell. Het is niet gek, het zijn de grootste engste beesten in Mtg.

Waarom is deze (en andere eldrazi) zo hard gestegen? Populariteit in EDH?
Ja, klopt.
De ability van Nihil Spellbomb resolvet als eerste en exilet alle kaarten uit zijn graveyard. De trigger van Ulamog kan vervolgens niks meer vinden en doet niks meer.
wanneer Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre naar de graveyard gaat, komt zijn triggered ability op de stack. als je vervolgens in reactie bijvoorbeeld een Nihil Spellbomb laat afgaan, dan exile je toch alsnog de hele graveyard met Ulamog erbij?

En het antwoord is een beetje vaag, ik zou Ulamog best willen copien als hij er niet dood aan zou gaan, hence dus zijn nadeel ten opzichte van de Blightsteel Colossus
Ik vind het toch wel een héééél klein beetje te laat/necro (understatement)

Vraag: Ik heb een combo! Summoning Trap!
Antwoord: Helaas, dat werkt niet helemaal zoals je wilt. Je mag alleen een permanent destroyen wanneer je Ulamog CAST. En dat is niet hetzelfde als "put on the battlefield". Je zult dus echt moeten betalen, of een andere manier vinden om hem te casten, zoals Fist of Suns of Intet, the Dreamer om een permanent te mogen slopen.

Annihilator abilities trigger and resolve during the declare attackers step. The defending player chooses and sacrifices the required number of permanents before they declare blockers. Any creatures sacrificed this way won’t be able to block.

If a creature with annihilator is attacking a planeswalker, and the defending player chooses to sacrifice that planeswalker, the attacking creature continues to attack. It may be blocked. If it isn’t blocked, it simply won’t deal combat damage to anything.

Lethal damage and effects that say “destroy” won’t cause a creature with indestructible to be put into the graveyard. However, a creature with indestructible can be put into the graveyard for a number of reasons. The most likely reasons are if it’s sacrificed, if it’s legendary and another legendary creature with the same name is controlled by the same player, or if its toughness is 0 or less.
